i thought a pub landlord had the absolute right to eject/refuse to serve anyone for anything objectionable on thier licensed premises under law

knob jockeys included

is there any need for this? Live and let live.

i usually do but im a bit fed up of all the "in yer face" that gays seem to want to inflict on the other 99% of the population

I can't say that I have noticed.

Then you live a well sheltered life!!!

Did you never receive any butch and butchess bookings for a limousine full of gays when you had your limos?

Of course I did and I never had a problem with either gay or lesbian bookings. I would say that none of them were "in yer face" In fact the ones that were "in yer face" were always male/female couples.

If a pub/club is a gay bar thats fair enough, you can avoid it (unless your into that) but do normal couples/individuals want to see two of em playing tonsil hockey? i very much doubt it, sometimes even straight tonsil-hockey can be obnoxious (unless im involved)

And that's the whole point!!!

I really ain't a lover of this 'in yer face' stuff whether it's heterosexual, lesbian or homosexual; none of that is IMO right and I suspect there are lots more like me.

You'll be surprised!!!

There are loads of gay clubs, pubs and eateries in Brum's gay quarter, probably in excess of thirty.

Many, many straights like to go to these venues just to ogle; I'm always picking them up and they say it's a great night out.

Picture this...................you are out with your wife or someone elses, your family or work mates............do you want someone hetro or gay sat next to you smacking the lips off of one another!!?

The bottom line is that people are trying to push the bounderies out further and further, and once you allow this you will then find people with their hands down each others pants

I work from the gay quarter of Cardiff and it annoys me to hear two guys or for that matter a m/f couple noisily licking the spit out of each others mouth. It is not about being Gay, it is about what is common decency, although I have to say that it is not that common.

I am not a prude but I am with you on this one.

From what I can remember a "Pub Landlord" theoretically does not have to give you/me a reason whatsoever............if he/she does not like your face..............tat ta.

We have the same thing here, but, I don't think they go to see people getting overly fresh with each other. There seems less trouble in these places and the girls especially feel safer having a night out in a gay club than they do in the regular places where trouble can erupt at any given second. Even the guys say it's a better night out cos it's more fun and less chance of trouble.

I've been asked if it bothers me about gays kissing in my vehicle and I've always said no more than it bothers me if straights do it. I don't mind the odd peck but full out fresh I can do without, thanks

I do have objections to "gay" rights and points of view being foisted/forced into main stream life when it quite obviously is not (mainstream i mean), apart from turkey basters and buying a child i know of no way gays can procreate "thier way" (as it were) so its obviously NOT natural, or they could, without resort to artificial means, have kids (not that having kids is an anyway an indication of normality but its a step in the right direction)

then again minorities rule nowadays so i may as well prepare myself....

It doesn't surprise me at all that you've been propositioned by a he-female.

We get it with the she-males.

  I wasn't suggesting that they get fresh with me I meant too fresh between themselves

But the question is; would you like them to get fresh with you?

Nah  In the years I've done this job I haven't had a single punter in my vehicle that I would like to get fresh with

Listening to interviews on the radio with people who were in the pub at the time it wasn't that the couple kissed it was that they performed what amounted to a sex act with a considerable amount of groping and "manhandling" of private parts in front of customers I think the landlord was quite right in throwing them out as if he had not done so and allowed that behaviour his license might have been in jeopardy
