Just hoping someone on here can recommend some insurance companies.
My Insurance is due soon and it has gone up £600.
I know everyone seems to have the same problem.
Will be spending my day off tomorrow ringing round.

Try TDO's links page www.taxi-driver.co.uk

There are a number of insurance companies and generally drivers save more ringing around than the money they lose by not being in their motors.

That said we are all being mugged by these massive increases.

Just a thought is there an insurance ombudsman or other body we could contact to get the insurance company's sorted out :?:

Its getting ridiculous for some where the insurance cost more than the car

It's the claim culture what's causing the premiums to go up.

Yep.....money grabbing cab drivers dont help either......those that'll willingly get hire cars for £hundreds per day then wonder why premiums go up.

There was a company here that if you settled the vehicle weekly it was the regular £85 per week but if the insurance company was paying it the same vehicle suddenly became £100 per day  The driver was onto a winner as well cos they got a cut of the rental paid for by the insurance
