I'm just being a little curious here but I'm interested to know from everybody a few little details.

1. Why you took up driving a taxi/ph?

2. If you could not continue as a driver for whatever reason what else could you do?

1. I was unemployed and bored with a wee bit spare cash.

2. I could go back to the Dole, Drive a Minibus, Drive a delivery Van, Drive a fork Lift, Warehouse work, work in a Vehicle Parts Department, work in a shop, work as an estate handy man, and if push came to shove go back to being a car mechanic..

Thats only providing that there is any work of any type available anywhere.

I might even try Online selling..our options are really only as big as our Imagination allows them to be..

1. I always fancied being a cabbie, but started as a manager of a Private Hire Company, with promises of a partnership in the company. When the partnership never materialised, I moved swiftly on to the Hackney Carriage trade.

2. I would go into partnership with my wife's cousin, who has an overwhelmingly successful existing business, so much so that he can't cope now, selling sex aids via the Internet. And that's no joke!!

1.Fell out of work and my local Postmaster had a few taxis and offered me a drive....20 years later here I still am.

2.Absolutely love the job now I am doing the airports.Am into the 4th year of the website and don't have to endure town day or night anymore.
Just couldn't work for anyone else,it would have to be running my own business,no idea what.Professional gambler would be nice.

1. Seemed like a good thing at the time, needed to work nights to earn.

2. Nothing. But I'm good for it.

You are too modest Trevor, tell the truth. You were in training to become a rocket scientist but couldn't get the matches to light.

You'd get bored. Trust me I know  To be fair though you don't strictly drive a taxi anymore so the loss of your taxi license wouldn't have such an impact on your financial situation

Sex, the guaranteed seller. It was something my friend and I toyed with a while back, if you'll pardon the pun
