You're the one with the Niddrie problem that's why you believe you are a businessman.

Now tell us what you paid for your council owned illusion?

No answer as to how much you paid for your council owned business illusion then?

I know you were too smart to believe you owned a business or a plate, Fairplay.

Only a complete [edited by admin] idiot would believe that, so go on tell us how much did you pay just to give us a laugh?

When are the people of Edinburgh going to get the message? Don't use PHC. The PHC trade is full of illegal immigrants, who can never be vetted properly, as the authorities don't have access to third world countries criminal records. Enoch Powell saw all this coming in 1963 and he has been proved right.

Remind me what checks taxi drivers have, that PH drivers don't?

Can I just ensure this question doesn't get lost in the mix? 8-[

They have exactly the same checks, although due to the nature of the HC job some local authorities have topograpical knowledge tests in place.

It's not about different checks.

You need to make an effort and spend money and a lot of time to get a taxi drivers licence but you don't even have to be able to speak basic English to get PHC drivers licence. (at least in Edinburgh)

That's why phc is a third rate service here. Despite some of the drivers being really competent in all aspects of the job, most are just not up to scratch.

You haven't answered the question.

That aside, take the knowledge test out of the equasion, does it still cost more money to the a taxi driver than a PH driver?

If standards are different why is nobody asking why?

I get the general feeling the taxi trade like it that way.....as do the PH operators.....one can point the finger saying how good they are in comparison and the other gets an easier supply of drivers?

Fairplay trust im neither new to trade or a chancer.

If i go to council with the fee in hand i can get any license other than a taxi license.

Now tell me how that is FAIRPLAY

Yeah that's right. A third rate service that makes us fourth rate.

And a third rate service crawling all over our work, changing the habits of our travelling public and that's now dictating our tariff.

Sad thing is that you think you don't have to do anything. All you need to do is tell people that they shouldn't be using a thrird rate service.

SNAFU

Perhaps if the trade hadn't become infested by the likes of you Swannee ...
