Good on ya, dont forget Miss Toots is used to being wined and dined as well, she does when she goes to Plymouth

I'm thinking I'd happily do the job for nothing. Well for an accommodation anyhow

I'm sure I wouldn't be stepping over the mark to suggest that the Skull and I would happily service Toots' needs.

And Glasgow is famous for its curries. Like hot stuff Toots?

That's very generous of you but has Skull got a licence still and do you have a vehicle yet? I love curry but I don't eat it very often. Perhaps when I come to Edinburgh you can drive me then cos I found it rather differcult to get the taxis there to take me where I wanted to go. They were very helpful they gave me directions :D

Why would a friend, driving another friend, need a licence?

Wouldn't any donation towards petrol costs be entirely at the discretion of both these friends?

So, who would need a licence in these circumstances?

As long as the donation doesn't exceed the actual cost of the fuel then you are quite correct you wouldn't need a licence

but if it does exceed the cost then you would be deemed to be driving for hire & reward which you would need a licence to do so.
