do you know what your on about because i sure as hell don't

the council have abandoned their appeal against the Kenny Donald case.
that means they accept the courts decision

that means the sisted cases(17 of them) will now be recalled with instructions to grant.

the other 5 or so will probably also be granted

are you for feckin real, whats not to understand.

ALI T your spot on, he and 80% of the trade are thick as feck, and it's guys like him that are running multi million pound companies like CC and CRT. What chance do we have with muppets at the helm?

to my own mind its not a good idea to buy one of these positions.

it has a cost to buy in and a continually rising monthly cost.

and once paid for you can never leave unless you find a buyer,so you are tied into these monthly debts, regardless of how much money the system actually provides for you in terms of extra profit(which as we all know is minimal.

guys take on positions in any radio company because they believe that drivers want a radio and thats the only way to tap into the pool of drivers.

thats a crock of sheet

the reality is quite different as any one who has actually driven both street and radio cabs know there is no difference in actually net profit.

btw the amount of guys in the trade who are long term cabbies that have in recent times found some mug to buy their position and moved on to the street is massive, and they have never looked back .
only inexperienced entrants to the trade think the way you do dougie
you really are grasping at straws, trying to talk up plate prices by making out that it comes with extra value.

if i saw 2 similar vehicles at the same price, and one had a position attached free gratis then i would buy that one.

it may be an extra incentive to buy one package over another under the above circumstances, but it certainly doesn't have greater value.
not in my opinion anyway

plenty plates for sale dougie

would you pay £50k for a plate and £15k for a position and £30k for a vehicle.

or do you just want to sell at these prices or higher if you had it your wayor should that be my way new york new york

your a business man dougie  if you think the markets that good why haven't you invested more, upgrade that old motor for a start, buy a second plate pay top dollar for a position.
if you wish to buoy it up like some cheap estate agent then put your money were your mouth is or stop spouting [edited by admin] because its boring and embarrassing just get on with it

btw the decisions known licenses granted :D

A deemed grant means that when the council deem there is un-met demand they will consider the 27 but not in an unfair way as before, if there is a recommendation to grant say another 30 licences my understanding is that the 27 will be considered fairly with any new apps that are applied for  What's good for the goose you know

btw Not for a while though as there is no un-met demand   [/quote]

My understanding is that Your Understanding is way off the mark!

You have already admitted that the 27/28/29 licences granted 1st time around was unfair and the court Concurred that!

How many of these licences are still in the same hands? Carpetbagging now springs to mind not the other way round?

The licences being granted this time are for guys who want to work the trade not to Carpetbagg!

If you have ' Inside Information' then please get at least half the facts right, in this post I agree with ALIT 100%
