How does making a statement without evidence or corroboration prove your innocence?
And more to the point, how is one to be judged without evidence or corroboration?
I'm not saying it proves innocence or guilt
But giving your statement is at least defending yourself. Which is more than you wanted to do!
Do you understand what it means to become a witness against yourself?
If you speak to an uncorroborated allegation and give your version of events. You are attempting to prove your innocence against an allegation which is unproven. You are innocent until proven guilty. Therefore, by speaking to the said allegations you are now a witness against yourself. You are being judged on what you say and what you are accused.
Without credible evidence, there is, no case to answer. You are, in fact, innocent. It's simply one mans word against another and no way to prove otherwise.
If you can't understand the above, then take it to a lawyer and have him explain.
The reason I will never drive another taxi is because of fu*king idiots like you. Not only are you unbelievably stupid. You would relinquish hard-fought rights simply to suck up to those in power. You are one pathetic piece of sh*t, and to think people died so that you could have rights you would abandon in a heartbeat.
If you would like to meet with me next Thursday, in the Leith area, I would be delighted to explain the above and to tell you to your face what a fu*king ar*e you are.
Let's be clear about one thing, because of people like you, driving a taxi means you one of the underclass. You have no Rights.
