The Councils DON'T SELL licences they Lease a Licence  The Medallion system i'm proposing is the same  They just increase the NEW LICENCE FEE GRANTED to the current market value of licences being traded between willing traders and do so by keeping the trade as it is at the moment, SUD's would still have to prove demand, the council would bring in a TRANSFER TAX of say 5% for individual transfers and say 12 1/2% for Multi licence transfers/corporate transfers.

The leasing system for Pubs is the same, depending on location the lease's value is based on the maket value for that area/business etc

Give us an alternative to this way and the status quo and we can take a look, if it's a fairer way then good

De-restriction will never be adopted so that's also out of the debate, too late

An alternative please :?:

So the council own the pubs like they own taxi-plates :?:

I see you had your other EYE out when reading my post

The medallion system i'm proposing is the way the Edinburgh game is at the moment but without the recognition and acceptance by the council we seek

Try and keep both EYE's on the post

We want the council to adopt the private leasing system's just like Pubs, Market stalls, house's and shops etc
