so when we gonna see this document before parliment.
i mean surely you and mr anderson(matrix voice) and mr i balllsed up the olympics transport.
do know that it would require a change in legislation,in fact you admitted that you were told as much.

so why do you pass it to someone in the council

The desire to change the legislation has to come from the Trade too the council and then on to the Government, i have been told from the top that if the desire comes from below, the government will give serious consideration to changing the CGSA, at the moment the trade and council are covering all options including my idea, everything is up for debate, a consultation process concerning the future of the Glasgow and Edinburgh trades is taking place and one thing all parties agree is that the status quo is wide open to abuse, as you know, the one thing that i know for sure is that de-restriction is out of the question, it's not going to happen.

The process is covering way's to restrict through changes to the cgsa the phc market, in retrospect a mistake made by the tories in the early 80s, how they do it is the problem, i believe my way is the solution for BOTH trade's :D

Restriction through cost is the solution

The document details how we can do this fairly for BOTH trades but yes we need a change in legislation, Captain cab gave me his view (not in the document) on a change that can be made to the CGSA that would allow LA's to restrict through cost :D

Hey it's a case of wouldn't you like to know

you got one thing right dougie

the current process is open to abuse

the abusers being the council

the proof being the amount of times the courts have not decided in their favor.

We await your response AliT

Are you reading it in the bath :?: Or the shed :?: With a MUG of tea and a buscuit :?: Trying to find faults :?: It's oh so quiet

The fact is, it is an alternative to the staus quo  Much fairer and a true reflextion of how the trade operates in Edinburgh  It protects the individual  It tightens the grip through a fair regulated form of restriction and in both the PHC and black cab trade :D

Copy and paste it if you like, i don't know how to do a multi page document, the whole document and nothing but the whole document :D

Listen, I was once the recipient of one of Dougies letters to Kenny MacAskill MSP, and also Kenny's response. Dougie, handed it to me personally.

Honestly, it was a sight to behold. I am only surprised Kenny never phoned the cab inspector directly, and had Dougies licence immediately revoked.

I can only think he was judged to be a harmless idiot. Which is not wide of the mark?
