Indeed it is, and a man who knows that knows a free for all is only going to make it worse, plus if you know that why are you still trying to gain entry again, if it's that bad, which it is, why would you want anything more to do with it, if I managed to lever myself away I'm not coming back ever and I mean it, and I know you can never say never, and that is why I'm still not gone yet, until I'm confident that my new avenue will prevent me ever wanting back in, but after 25 years of working nights and weekends and holidays I think I stayed a bit longer than I originally intended to, the only thing it offers me right now is freedom to come and go at will, other than that it's no better than a paper round.

Why are you still bleating on about the taxi trade in edinburgh skull?

You don't work in it anymore!
You claim that your were making plans to leave the job anyway!

Yet you still frequent the forums insulting forum users and starting up topics that, whilst provoke discussion and arguements, is filled with topics and information you have no time or effort in wanting to work with

For someone that's not interested in the work anymore you sure do go on and on and on and on about it!

When I started writing on taxi forums a good number of years ago now. I could barely write with a pen and had just started using a computer. I taught myself to read some 10 years before but still struggled when putting my thoughts on paper, writing in a structured and coherent manner. All that changed, when I taught myself to type and became familiar with computer programs designed for people with special educational needs.

Forums were perfect for my education because of the cut and thrust of the writing and debate. You could say, I have used TDO, and other forums, as an exercise to help me with my writing.

The politics of driving a taxi within the power structures that control the trade gave me the perfect battlefield on which to learn. I think now. I have simply outgrown what I became involved in so many years ago. To me, it is now just a bit of fun and a pi*s take at the same time.

Unfortunately, Longshanks, people like you never learn to adapt, and that's why the trade is in the state it's in now. The job is just not worth doing any more and anyone with an ounce of intelligence is trying to get out. Those left behind either accept the way things are or don't know what else to do, I am willing to take my chances.

Oh Jeez man, I didn't realise you had learning difficulties, I am really sorry to hear this as it makes life an uphill battle within an uphill battle, it does explain why you think like you do though, you should've made this fact known earlier, I'm not one for meeting a man head on who I feel is disadvantaged, it's just a liberty, but you have to understand the fact you do struggle to grasp doesn't bode well when it comes to being taken seriously when the topic is of a serious nature.

Being able to read and write is something that most of us take for granted. The fact that you, in your younger years couldn't, is quite sad. Unfortunately there a large number of kids who are still experiencing this today. ( 21st Century Britain ?) . Anyway, on this occassion I doff my cap to you Skull. (Might be the only time though, but you know that).

Unfortunately, for you, I only had to look at the way you write to know you're an idiot. So what's your excuse? :D

It's the way the educational system teaches kids to read and write. Not all children learn in the same way. Some have genuine difficulties when looking at words, or what I like to call, code. Very rarely do they ask, how does this child learn and then find methods of teaching and learing to meet the child's needs?

What they don't tell you is, there is no real reason for a child leaving school and not being adept at reading or writing. The educational system is simply failing to meet the child's needs. They even subjugate difficult children using drug therapy.

Oh and it's no accident.

Hard to believe, trust me, it goes on all the time. :-|

So when was the last time you checked out the definition of the word CODE

Here is an example using numbers instead of the letters of the alphabet Skull

25 15 21/ 01 18 05/ 01 14/ 01 19 19 08 15 12 05      Alway's willing to help where learning difficulties are a problem :D

I do agree in a way there is a 2 tier educational system, a bit of a them and us if you know what i mean, or was that a US and THEM

Great song by Pink floyd, those where the day's

Dougie, you see my learning “difficulty" as a sign of weakness, maybe 10 years ago, but not now. Don't you see Dougie? I am a product of a system that threw me overboard a long time ago?

PINK FLOYD – THE WALL

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teacher leave us kids alone
Hey! Teacher! Leave us kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall

Sorry Dougie, unlike you, I never got the program.

Oh and Dougie, I think you should check out the definition for the word, CODE.   fecking idiot.

Oh dear, you seem so calm and focused in your informed opinion of me. One could consider your response to be extremely measured and well thought out. Only a complete lunatic would believe otherwise.

Have you anything more to add as I would hate to think you had left something out?

If you don't mind me making an observation. Your writing would improve if you take deep breaths between each word, while keeping both hands on the keyboard. We wouldn't want things getting all sticky now would we.

You might also think about meditation, or if all else fails, medication before going anywhere near a computer keyboard. They tell me it works wonders for people who can't keep their emotions under control.

Repeat after me, “I'm going to get help in the morning for my unresolved childhood issues.”

Now jog on, there's a good chap.

Yeah yeah, I've been down the pub with friends, real friends I may add, you however seem to be sat at the PC day and night waiting to put someone else down who doesn't agree with you, you are like the lingering smell of a turd that got flushed away ten minutes ago, the left over odor of last nights curry, waiting in the wings to get up someone and anyone's nose if you can.

And I think that is that as far as me and you are concerned Skull, I haven't returned here to have tit fer tat discussion with you, I got work to do.
