Tbh, I've had the Cab for over 3 years now and I'm reluctant to spoil it, (in my opinion), by putting Ads on it. So, if the Ad was going to look totally "Daft", and I had no say in the matter, I wouldnae' bother.

Ali, what do you mean it ruins the paint ?. That's one o' the reasons I was going to get it done. To hopefully save on the annual paint job !

You need to consider if you are getting a full body wrap or super sides, either way it [edited by admin] the paint. If your paintwork is already shagged, then it's a good idea. As a full body wrap can save on a paint job. On the other hand, when your contract is up, taking the wrap off can fu*k the paint so you have two choices, another wrap or a paint job.

Make sure paintwork damage is covered in your contract. I've had super sides lift the paint right off the door,

Oh and remember the time spent off the road putting things right or replacing the wrap. It's not all rosy in the garden.

Good luck

If you use a heat gun or hot hair dryer they come off easy and dont lift the paint

Full body wrap with at least a years contract, and the prospect of a new wrap after the first year, fingers crossed. I don't know if there is such a thing as a two-year contract. Maybe if you could do a private deal with a hairdresser or the like. You don't have to go through a broker. You can do it yourself. :-|

Not had any dealings personally.
Few around here have had wraps, not heard of any paint problems when removed.
Must be more common down your way, not many black cabs up here.
