Skull, you've obviously not got a clue what I'm talking about. All you seem to think about is the Taxi Trade
I didn't specifically mention the taxi trade.
Try this: From a very early age, you are taught to apologise, make excuses, give explanations, to ask for permission, and to allow others make your decisions for you and to give away any control you might have. It's simply a part of your social conditioning.
In private schools like Eton and Fettes college, they learn the opposite.
In short, they are taught to lead and you to follow.
It's no accident the way you are Fairplay, you never had a chance.

You do no more than you are programmed to do.
So the alternative is to live in Africa

A place where democracy doesn't exsist
The price of democracy is social regulation, those who choose not to conform normally classify themselves as Losers, you know the type Skull, look in the mirror
The way we live in our democratic country we have opportunity, i'm happy with what i've got but my brother who had no more educational advantage over me worked harder taking more opportuniies and is now a millionaire and he is still the same brother that i grew up with.
Corruption comes from a human trait called temptation, your mate Jasbar has already stated that our council could have bought him out years ago, have you never given in to Temptation Skull, Have you read the book of Temptaton, right or wrong Tempation exsist's and i believe there arn't many who have never given in to Temptation including you.
You say we are educationally programmed and that is correct, the alternative is known as Disadvantaged, you know the type Skull, cowgate etc

Education is a privalege in our country and it's what makes our democracy work.
I'm happy to conform, if you are not then thats your Human Right, no one forces you

No Dougie, Africa has nothing to do with it, not even as a bad example. This is one of your medallion moments.
“the price of democracy is social regulation” where do you get this tripe?
When regulation is deliberately used to disadvantage people, it is not democracy, it's a dictatorship. It might well be an elected dictatorship, but it is still a dictatorship, nevertheless.
As for your brother, if he is no more educated than you, it just goes to show education is little to do with instinct, guile or luck. I take my hat off to him for what he has achieved, but that's it. I don't know him, and if he's anything like you Dougie, there is little he could say that would be of any real interest to me.
Now think of a hierarchical system where the educational objective is obedience and compliance and not critical and creative thought. Where schools are like factories and children are programmed. Education, is therefore, a complex series of number crunching, box ticking exercises carried out for those who can readily accept the program. The outcome, a compliant and obedient work force of unquestioning automatons programmed to serve and protect the system.
Let's call it,
the more for them, and less for us, system of education.
Now consider an educational system which is truly aspirational. Where critical and creative thought is actively encouraged, and children are treated as individuals with equal chances in life.
You could call this,
the more for us, and less for them, system of education.
Which would you prefer?
Oh and Dougie, you did not choose to conform if you were unaware of having a choice, now you are simply a bootlicker.
