I'd heard the rumours, and I met her myself the other day!

We used to have Police Traffic wardens running the rank at Heathrow, some done a cracking job, some were lazy and some of the wide boys took advantage of this and put straight onto the rank bypassing the feeder park.

Things were tightened up when the contract (at the same time TFL took over from the Met re our licensing) to run the Taxi system went over to Meteor, a private company who also run the parking operations on the BAA site. New entry electronic tags and a supposedly watertight system is now up and running. Apparently!

Needless to say Meteor employ mainly our Polish friends as they are cost effective, in other words do the job for a lot less than home grown labour would.

So it's no surprise some of them top up their wages with other jobs.

One of the prettier ones has quite an interesting side line!!

You often get ‘Big T***’ on Terminal 1/2/3 . . ‘ (delete as required) coming out on Twitter quite regularly!
