I do that but always with the push chair against the rear facing seats and secured as best as possible although some parents do insist on just holding the pushchair wheelchairs are always secured with straps although some of the heaviest and most complicated electric ones are nearly impossible to strap in or turn around so they are facing forwards !


PS I gave carried HUNDREDS of children in push chairs over the years and Never had a problem

In a petitioned vehicle the responsibility for putting their seatbelts on belongs to the passenger.... and the responsibility for a child accompanied by an adult is also the adults..
and if this is the case for able body people surely it is this the same for a disabled person especially if accompanied by a ablebodied person.....

You are correct on the first bit of your post but if your right on the second part of your post then why was the driver charged in the initial post :?: Some of our members have asked for clarification on this and the cab officer did not have an answer for them. :?

It obviously depends on the hire ...... and the laws at present but national laws over- ride by-laws
