and of course only the elite radio companies can and do work at those times

have you ever wondered why you don't see street cars out before 7 am because thats when the street work starts and most street cars are savvy enough not to pay radio dues.

however if the works free then thats a different story well done ecph for outmaneuvering the biggish 3,if it works it will take a huge toll on the radio companies in fact it may be the end of the hacks as we know it.

and an illegal tarrif hike, probably the worst concieved one in history.

ecph are going to be having a party if this goes through

Well ask the last smaller radio company who had the contract one of the reasons they lost it?

One of the reasons being they could not cover the work around those time and the care workers were left stranded and late.

Lets face it I couldn't care less about it but It ain't all rosie as you and Jasbar make out hence the reason city/central have managed to hold on to it.

Also what about disclosure Scotland? Thats a must and I know plenty in the ph trade who havn't a chance of getting it. Again something the other two have an advantage with.

do us a favor :---)
as for disclosure Scotland, i know plenty in the taxi trade that shouldn't have passed it.

in this day and age only the price will count in the chambers....win or lose the contract.... one way or another the big three will be paying big time discounts

Yes one way or another I don't give a flying!!! What have I got too lose?

Glad you know plenty too that shouldn't have passed it but alas they did,the rest don't do CEC contracts or drive street cabs.

As for the discounts I tend to agree but you can bet your sorry ass CEC will look after their customers who require disclosure scotland or the payout should anything happen would make your plate pay-outs look like chicken feed

The Social Work Contract has now been put out to tender.

For the first time streetcars have an opportunity to access work from the Council's Social Work Contract.

Here's the deal.

1. Receiving equipment will be installed free of charge.

2. No radio dues will be charged.

3. There will be no call out fee applied.

4. No commission fee will be charged for administration.

5. The normal discount given to the Council will not be deducted.

6. Drivers will get the full, undiscounted price for the job.

7. Any enhanced disclosure required will be funded by the contracted supplier.

8. All contract amounts payable will be paid directly into driver's bank accounts.

Streetcars have long been excluded from public contracts, they being the exclusive preserve of the three taxi companies. There is now no reason why they should be. Everyone now has the opportunity to become involved and provide a service to something they fund through their public taxes.

PM me if you're interested and I'll pass the details on.

Hey jimbo long time no here have you missed me lol xxxxxxx

Oh jeez ALI T there you go making things up and accusing folk off things.

Where or when have I said I have been dayshift? yes I havn't done one in four years and I have never been out dead early in my puff,by the way 16 years in the trade and still laugh like fk at people like you,the type that get wee things in there head and it grows arms and legs =D>

You butted in and told us how the big 3 would suffer and I asked how yer ph mates would get round disclosure? Still you canny tell us

I will tell you again I couldn't give a toss and why because in MY OPINION any discount jobs not worth it.
