See, I told you Gary aka Skull, if FP can see it and I can see it, and the LO's have obviously seen it, how can we all be wrong.

You've been issued 3 plates I believe and you've sold all three of them on, that doesn't suggest you are a friend to the taxi trade, that says to me that you use it as a vehicle for personal profit, you didn't buy a plate then sell it, you sold something given to you three times over, and you wonder why no one takes you seriously, you're not much more than a door to door salesman if the truth is know, shows a definite lack of suitability to me to hold a license, you are for one hypocritical in that you call others dishonest, yet you seek to obtain to simply sell on again, if that isn't along the lines of obtaining by deception I don't know what is, and deceitful people are not fit to be licensed iirc?

Did something change the truth of your situation when I wasn't looking?

I take it. You want all the advantages of being in business but none of the risks.

Perhaps, a restricted market, with an abundance of casual labour, artificial plate values, hiked rentals and politicians setting your tariffs?

I don't suppose you recognise a certain inequality, discrimination or exploitation of drivers denied unfettered access to the tools of their trade?

How about actually having to compete in your own market?

Oh no it's still an illusion.

That is just bending what is being said, most of us bought a plate for our own use, you had three given to you and sold them all, if you get a fourth one I suspect that will also be sold on?

You don't want a plate so you can work, you want one to put a sum of free money into your account, see the difference now?

Oh look once again what you've written doesn't change the truth of your situation.

Another answer, that isn't an answer Skullie, you know your motives aren't pure, and so do other's, and that is why you now find yourself in the position you are in, still, I enjoyed your rage story where you don'd your Batman uniform and chased another motorist across town, you sound real stable in the mind, NOT!

WRONG AGAIN!

The council pays me nothing, I pay the council each year in fees, as I pay them by definition, they are my employee not the other way around, and btw, if you really wanna discuss ownership, you are probably drawing dole right now, so the very paymaster you detest most OWNS you right now

How is that sh1te? if someone pays someone else for services, the payee is the employer and the recipient is the employee, even a driver is an employer, he employs the owner to provide a car, for which he pays him for, same with a circuit, no O/D is employed by the circuit, he employs the circuit to provide work for him, please tell me if I'm wrong, or should I type a bit slower to enable you to catch up.

btw, good news, took an exec decision today, I'm getting out, your right about one thing, it is now a sh1te job that doesn't pay and with all the vultures circling, it makes no sense to remain at risk.

If you pay someone to work for you, you are hiring their services. However, if you pay someone to keep yourself in work, you are in their employ. You work for them. :-|

Oh and good luck, I think you are making the right decision. :-|

I KNOW I am, it's been a long time coming, but the whole face of it has changed, locally the council has wrecked business with sub'd buses, closed venues, new venues next to train stations etc, I've been holding on to my pension dream too long and I know it's not going to materialize due to interference, so having already taken my eye off the ball when the banks went pop I don't intend being around when the final demolition ball swings at what was a great fun free and easy job, now it's just a job full of regulating parasites.
