No mention of any joining fee, I talked to one of the directors, he said its £290 a week for the car, radio, insurance etc and what I make is Mine, minus the diesel of course!

You're only right it was somebody else, it doesn't take a lot to confuse me  No wonder I thought it strange for Merseyside

I'd find out from existing drivers what the average take is each week. If you do 40 hours and take £890, minus the £290 rent and say £100 fuel you get £500, not bad. But if you're only going to take £490 and £50 fuel you'll end up with £150 - so the rent is way too high.

I can only speak for Nottingham but I work an 8 seater and take about £600 on a good week for 50 hours but out of that I will use £80 diesel and £310 rent and board so I would check around your patch before taking the plunge.
