Jasbar your postings concerning Toots PROVES you see females as un-superior to you, i know Toots Name and it's Female, i also think Toots Avatar shows an inDependant and comfortable minded lady who likes to take on the men of her trade when debating the issue of our trade, Toots adds to the many debates and offers well thought opinions, You don't, you only ever harp on about the same thing any other input is insults, Toots offers this forum much more than you so as ANN would say 8)

un-superior surely you mean inferior

btw toots isnt a taxi driver doesnt that make her your enemy

i also think Toots Avatar shows an inDependant and comfortable minded lady who likes to take on the men of her trade when debating the issue of our trade

Valid point DB, but, my opinions regarding cherry picking were formed whilst working full time in the trade and were not regarding hours but the fares they took. Most of my opinions are formed from past experience

So it wasn't really you who said:

"Anyway WBC now have the issues of over ranking at night outside the clubs and pubs of the Wirral. Over ranking in daytime at the shopping areas. With few or very taxis available Sun, Mon, Tues or Wed evening and night cos it just isn't worth the effort to come out. They've bred a trade of cherry pickers who will work daytime Mon to Wednesday and day and night on a Thursday to Saturday where drivers work excessively long hours."

And you still haven't squared the contradiction between your claim that the public can't get a taxi on Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed while the drivers are coming out at other times to do jack.

I'm not going to deny it cos it's what I wrote. I always used the term cherry picking when it came to jobs cos that's how it's used here, however on this forum on a couple of occasions I have used it to explain hours worked. So clever you  not sure what contradiction you're on about tho because I clearly stated that the difficulty of getting a taxi was in the evening at the beginning of the week. Drivers don't work the same way now as they did when I wrote that comment because they're all working silly hours to make ends meet and if you want a taxi now you just ring a ph company

Me an enemy  Oh please the ph drivers are not the enemy it's the greedy operators that are the enemy and in the case of Edinburgh those that want to de-restrict the trade, not to mention those that get plates given to them for nothing and instead of working the said plate they sell it to line their pockets ffs  If you were so concerned about the trade you wouldn't behave in the manner that you do, but, then again I don't remember ever reading anything that said you were concerned

Maybe Dougie means she's got a mind like a sofa.

Now where have I heard the word 'sofa' before in relation to Edinburgh and the taxi trade #-o

Oh yes, it was one of those videos - "Your fanny's like a burst sofa"

I think Dougie's actually casting aspersions on Toots but just trying to be nice about it :D

Mind you, he would hardly be the first male to compliment a female on her mind when he's actually thinking about something else

it wasnt directed at you dafty you just happened to be the playdoh in doogies mind at the mo.

but since you stuck yer oar in.

i know of no female who would be interested in the slightest in what goes on in this forum.
especially since it is not your full time profession, your not a proper cabbie and frankly it ain't that interesting.
so why do you feel the need to fill up every single thread with nothingness.

youve got nothing to say toots, and about the most interesting thing about you appears to be your avatar and the fact that you meet up with cabbies you've met on hear,is there something about this site i dont know about

ive met woman like you before you pretend to be the big independent when i fact your the exact opposite ,thats why you stay above a pub, thats why you skirt round the outside of what is traditionally a mans world.
you may not be aware yourself but its blatantly apparent to most of your utter neediness.

and yes i write a load of tosh as well, but it least it has direction and some degree of passion.i cant figger out why your hear tbh
unless you think its some sort of womans social club

talking of womans socials http://www.thetaxiforum.com/ it may be more to your suiting sir

given to them
for nothing
are you that stupid
£1500 a pop
and i worked them and sold them
when i was working them i was lining my pockets and when i sold them i was lining my pockets

whats the distinction your trying to make ,as all i can see is money being made one way or another, and isnt that what work is all about

didn't you see the barricades going up at city chambers.

a council spokesman was quoted as saying
"we have enough tea and biscuits to last us at least 2 years,we refuse to uphold the law and will stay here as long as it takes"

a visually a shaken mr Smith was quoted as saying

"i will support them through the trade and refuse to acknowledge this has happened we will continue to restrict through restriction of de-restrictionism"

You're the SNP bumboy. You tell us

Months ago my fellow SNP bumboys told me that the council where going to drag there high heels on issueing more licences, as stated by me previously, deeming a grant doesn't mean the council have to grant, the balls are in the appealers court, go on take us to court, that's the strategy i thought the council where going to take, as i have stated many times

But hey i started to think Jasbar, AliT, Skull and Jinky had bigger bumboy's than me in the council, they kept telling us on the forum that licences will be granted, they will grant and much more pash from them followed concerning the granting of licences  I started to believe brothers, i started to believe

Then out of the blue AliT tells us that the council are dragging their high heels, hey maybe we share the same bumboy at the council, he's done us AliT, he's done us   Thank god i knocked back his advances, did you AliT  Naw you swallowed it didn't you, you sold for 3 plates previous so might just have sold your bum on this one  you swallowed the schect that was coming out of the dreamers, admit it   Go on admit it

Then a piece of info lands on me today that Mr Donald hasn't got his plates yet, i maybe wrong but i heard he put a cab through its test, which passed, he asked for his plates and was told your not getting them, any clearer picture of the whole truth and nothing but the truth on this one    We do know how you 4 like to presume a situation so only the truth will do, or is the way i said it, is what happened

So what is the clear picture on the issueing of licences, is it or isn't it going to happen and when

Toots you are no enemy of mine, i respect your opinions and they make for interseting reading sometimes, i grew up and i'm a friend of Archie Mason who owns a ph company, his company is not my problem, like you i agree its the greedy operators out to destroy fair play that is the enemy, don't let Jasbar or that carpetbagging green ugly thing with sticky out ears put you off offerering opinion on all things taxi/ph
