Well was Black Friday good to you?
I made the mistake of working in the morning when I should have started around lunch time onwards, i finished around 7pm and the town was heaving :cry: :cry:

For me it was quieter than a normal Friday up until midnight, as expected afterwards.

With there still being one Friday to go until Christmas I think it'll be more spread out this year. More people than usual will still be at work next week, although I doubt if they'll be working next Friday.

So perhaps more after-work parties than usual next week. Fingers crossed.

Next fridays mad friday..last night was dead..

Dunno where they get the Idea that folk break up for Hols this early, most folks I know knock off next friday night.

Fri better than normal, loads of works party's on
same again Sat.
next Fri will be mad Fri as most places shut at lunchtime for the Christmas hols, then around tea time the fun starts

Just had a very rosy Wednesday, took a fare from our local hospital 17 miles towards Peebles, fare on the meter £30, was about to ask for £29, when he handed my £60 and said keep the change :D :D :D

And you accepted it??? That is taking advantage of the customer. You should have refused the extra as being far to much and accepted a more appropriate tip. :wink:

Never even got a chance to stop for a bite to eat and only managed to stop for a quick pee break :shock: This is lining up to be the best Christmas and New Year ever. If this is recession then give me more of it.
