5 standing order quick jobs from the bingo between 9 pm and 10 pm, other wise a nearly normal Friday night.folk are saving it for tomorrow, Sunday and Monday
Got totally hissed of this afternoon 35 mins to do 2 1.5 mile jobs from Asda all roads to and from it clogged up, all because of some fecking traffic lights outside Tossers backing everything up
Just in to get some sleep so I will be fresh for my 18 to 20 hour shift

I think ASDA are guilty in all towns for causing traffic hold ups, yesterday round here it was manic becuase of ASDA, we've also got a set of traffic lights on the main road outside ASDA which are controlled by the public, they only let 4 cars through then they change back to red again causing major hold ups all over town. They are the new sort of pedestrian crossing that are infecting our roads.

same here dayshift got going after 10.30 am and stayed busy till 4pm then very quiet night I manned the phones till 7pm then decided I was so bored I'd put them on divert and leave the night drivers to it

tonight loads in between 00.30 and 02.00 but early evening and later looking absolute pants at the moment as per usual everyone wants returns only I'd be surprised if the cars take as much as a normal saturday night !

only did 4hrs in day 1-5pm wasn't bad, but not brilliant.

back out at 8pm-3am and wished I hadn't bothered. only felt busy from 2-3am because all but the n/s driver had given up by then.

bookings well short of last year for tonight as well. going to start about 5 and play it by ear till just before bells,(bring in the year with a latte) then 12.30ish to whenever. not quite up to skippy's standard, but it should do me.

Continuous running from just after the Bells until 3.20am.

However the period before that was so slow. 4.30pm to Midnight ~ I only took just over £30.00.

Overall ~ The quietest New Year I've ever done.

p.s. ~ It is only the fourth New Year I've ever done, so I don't have a broad range of experience to work on!

The Booking for the rest of New Years Day and night are encouraging...
