Of course if we do get scottish independence then we no longer need a scottish section on TDO

Well, won't that put your gas at a peep.

Because the huge amount of time you must spend posting your drivel here can only be testament to the fact that you've been hunted by the rest of the site.

So, where does a self-styled amateur journo go next?

Time for you and your dicky ticky to retire?

38% say yes that gives US not Westminster 3 years to get another 13%, its a no brainer why Alex will wait, everytime the Tories push we nationalist's add another couple of % to our running total    If the poll polled 60% then it would happen but that isn't projected until 2014, i'm sue Europe won't wait on Boy David until then so pushing David to push Alex so raising the % of Tory haters to that magical 50+% that is needed.

Then we can chase ya bunch o Morris dancing water looters back over oor borders, we'll throw haggises at your heid and shout away ye go ya bunch o tumshies

well, we dont have a france section, or germany section, so why have a seperate section for a different country?

I think the continuation of a Scottish section post-independence would represent an example of what politicians are calling the "social union". [-(

Anyway, taxi licensing is devolved to the Scottish Parliament, so as far as the trade is concerned Scotland is already 'independent'.

You might just as well use your argument to ask why TDO shouldn't have a London section.

Of course, it doesn't but that doesn't stop the discussion of London issues.

Why do you automatically assume it's an English forum?

We only have a Scottish section because a bunch of whinging Englishmen wanted it. Then they post in it more than anyone.
There'd be no point in having a "Cumbria Section", you'd get lonely on your own.

I will ignore the timings and the so called interference issues for now.

But has any one worked out how the Scots will benefit other than a few flag waving exercises.

I'm actually warming to you getting independnce because I'm fed up with dozens of Scots MPs voting on issues that don't relate to Scotland.

Maybe it is a win win situation.

Yes with all the resources its a Win Win for Scotland and its a Win Win for the Tories as well, as it wipes out the Scottish Vote at Westminster, at least the Tories would lead a minority Gov for many years to come.

Its my belief like yourself Sussex the Tories are not scared of the Scots going alone but the fact that Westminster would lose control of our resources, the other fear is there standing in Europe, on the whole i think Devo Max will be the compromise :D
