Electrician found guilty of exposing himself to womanA MARRIED man who exposed himself to a female taxi driver has been ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for five years.
Colin Booth, aged 42, had denied intentionally exposing himself but was found guilty after a trial at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Booth, of Hurst Close, Over Hulton, had got into the front passenger seat of the taxi in Atherton town centre at 2.20am on September 11.
During the 10-minute journey, he exposed himself and asked the female driver questions about when her shift finished, which left her feeling scared.
As the taxi stopped outside the home 6ft 8in tall Booth shares with his wife of 13 years and their three children, he lifted himself up in the taxi and “thrust his groin towards her face”.
The woman said the incident had left her feeling “vulnerable”.
The self-employed electrician was also ordered to pay £250 compensation to his victim and £650 costs.
