This is becoming like a 'BENNY HILL' show !!!! Laughable and absolutely irrelevant !!! Second/third language ? Peking etc .......... GROW UP !!!! The issue discussed is of no other relevance, other than a vehicle blocked in by vehicles in front, and by the emergency ambulance itself at the rear (OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL A&E ENTRANCE ITSELF) - The driver is ordered to move where it is obviously clear he cannot !!!!!! NO WIN SITUATION !!!!

In answer to the repeated question ie how I would feel if there was a member of my family/or myself in the rear of the ambulance in a blue light situatin and a taxi was blocking its way ??????? WHAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM THE 'PROFESSIONAL' AMBULANCE DRIVER' IS ONCE HE HAS ESTABLISHED THAT THERE IS NOWHERE FOR HIM TO MOVE TO BECAUSE TRAFFIC IS BLOCKED BY ME, WHO IN TURN IS BLOCKED BY MANY OTHER VEHICLES (ESPECIALLY TRANSPORT) AMBULANCES......... THEN THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO POINT ARGUING WITH THE DRIVER IN FRONT (IRRELEVENT IF HE SHOULD BE THERE OR NOT).......... AND GET ON WITH YOUR JOB .......WHICH IS DEALING WITH THE 999 PATIENT IN THE REAR !!!!!!!!! Remember "seconds count" and the driver/paramedic does not have valuable minutes arguing with the driver in front to 'move' when it is absolutely clear they can't !!!!

NOW THERE IS NO REASON TO SHOUT, ADSA!
Moreover, to repeat what I have already said, meaning to defend you.

But quite honest, Adsa, just from the way you write, if you would show these lines to a psychologist, he might be inclined to deduct from that you might just be a tiny little bit hot-tempered and ready to get into arguments yourself, instead of keeping a cool head and maybe just being a little understanding with someone who might be a little stressed at that moment.

And I would say that as a fairly objective observer, I still am inclined to believe that were actually blocked and the paramedic may have been over the line.

This stresses a need for a driver to carry a digital camera at all time, not only for Incidents such as this but for traffic violation, RTA's etc. In Manchester we carry a digital camera to take pictures of a drivers face in case of an accident. You will not believe the number of pairs of eyes I have on disc, peering through a Burka.

Had a 'claims' guy recently going around giving away packs including a digital camera.

Oh, and a chocolate muffin as well. :D
