After another rant about a comment or comments on TDO by the Dundee license (Tory) chairman at the start of the monthly meeting it is apparent that he has become obsessed with TDO .It has become a regular thing that he starts the meeting with his views on comments that have been made on TDO . His latest rant was to accuse STATIONTONE of being a political loose cannon  . If the definition of a political loose cannon is someone that wants Scotland to be rid of Tory Westminster influence forever by wanting Independence and Dundee to never again have a labour administration who brought the city of Dundee to its knees and ruined the Dundee taxi trade then the Tory councillor must be spot on . :D
I just hope that he has used his own computer for visiting a social Internet forum site and not a council one but i am sure a FOI will clear that up . :D SAOR ALBA

From what you say, the chap seems eminently sensible. A free enterprise taxi trade in a strong UK union. The man clearly has vision and understanding of fairness.

I predict that after the referendum, Dundee won't we changing its name to Salmondville and wee eck won't be ordering daily seig heil's to his fizzog in portraits on our walls.

Grow up Stationtone. The alleged independence vote is gonna put your leader's gas at a peep for ever. he's gonna have to resume his career as a mad economist

I could predict that as well, regardless of the result.

Perhaps you should grow up Jim. Personal attacks on Alex Salmond are a poor substitute for a reasoned argument in favour of the union.

As I alluded above your current membership status has got nothing to do with me nowadays.

But you still seem to be missing the point slightly. If you're mixing up SNP politics with local licensing matters then that's a potential minefield.

All I'm saying is that the two should be kept separate.

In fact I think I've made the same point a couple of times in the past, so if you choose to ignore that then on your own head be it.

Well if he's reading these forums, when is he going to stop forcing cab owners buying WAVs and allow more saloons on the road so that all ambient disabled can get access to a cab from a rank or hail, instead of having to call a private hire
Does the equality bill not have any standing in desperate Dan town
Why not do a survey and find out exactly what wheelchair users want, I think that most, thats if they can transfer from there chair to a cab seat would prefer a saloon.
Oh and get a grip of 203020 they are pulling the wool over your eyes
If your council wants owners to supply a WAV the council should be giving owners around £10,000 towards the cost of buying one
Oh and can you name any other form of public transport in the UK where you don't pay before you go
