No, that would be the union I'd love to leave behind after 300 years

BTW independence isn't yours to give..........it's ours to take.

Motoringlawbarrister ,can Mr Naylor now sue for loss of earnings after having his license revoked whether it be by the licensing department or the police(does it matter who revoked it)

Thanks Andy.

Not really my field (I specialise in defending drivers in the criminal courts - this would be more of a civil case) but I think it would be highly unlikely. Anybody who wishes to claim compensation in these circumstances should speak to a specialist in civil law, That is certainly NOT me, I'm afraid.

A few comments on the below interview with the not guilty taxi driver from someone I presume was present in court.

According to Mr. Butler he did not know Anne-Marie. Anne-Marie had been working on Crown Street for 20 years. He admitted that you get to know the faces of the girls down Crown Street, yet he did not know her. While I agree with the NG verdict and the Jury reached the correct verdict, and I sat through that trial, how does a persons D.N.A get on a dead body. Secondary transfer? Anne-Marie was the matriach of Crown Street any girls who turned up to start working in the Crown Street area she would advise them not to get involved. Since her death 271 Street workers have now turned their lifes around and become clean. We may never find out who did this to her only she and the offender know and we will always be grateful for the changes that have come about because of her death R.I.P Anne-Marie. "Time to move on"

firstly no blood of mr butlers was found on ann marie and he had never been incontact with her he wasnt a customer either. the dna found may have not been his and if it was his it was touch dna which means it could of been passed on through many ways eg, other people , money or second hand from another person.and also mr butler has not and will not be paid any compensation,,,, hope this is clear enough for you....

And all of that will have been considered by the jury having been directed by the judge.
