are you talking about what I call my "anti-kidnap button" (an internal switch that operates the central locking)? I'm not sure but I think there's a mechanical switch on the doors themselves that can stop the internal handle from operating. (which is what I think toots is thinking of) I also believe it's not allowed to be utilised on a taxi/ph (but I may be, and probably am, wrong on that point)
