Because that's to easy, Councils especially Ashfield who like to complicate things.

I think you're being overly harsh there nidge......I would say just Ashfield.

You see I think if I went for my badge and through reasons not of my own such a request hadnt come back.....my council would probably look at my track record and give me the benefit until the DVLA form was returned........now that is a proper licensing department, with people who actually care about the public and people they license........unlike yours.....who seem to be a shower of sh*t.

It had come back though but, like I said they didn't like my signature plus with the DVLA working to rule so I had to submit another one last week.

It doesn't help when the Council only process badge applications one day a week, that day being a Thursday.

Like I said in another post, I think it's time to move on to pastures new.

No new job altogether. I'm sick and tired of it at the moment.

The Council haven't received the papers from the DVLA so as from midnight tonight I'm off the road. I'm starting to hate this job.

They decided to give my my badge on Wednesday after I told them about the number they can ring which Man City fan kindly posted but wait for it, the Council had never heard of the phone number but when I enquired to Swansea they told me Ashfield Council had an account to do it that way. When I phoned the Council back and told them they were still reluctant but decided to phone the number after I had given them the go ahead for them to access my details.

What a day last Wednesday was.
