Are you trying to say that the link is still in the reply?

Yes, a semi-reasonable point, but if you follow the logic of the thread then the point of removing the link in the first post is that a person may not have realised it was a potentially malicious scam from reading the first post, but by the time they get down to the repeated post then they will be aware that it is, and thus not click on the link unless they aren't bothered that it might be a hoax.

Is that what you mean?

Note also that by the time Sussex had made his 'spot the mistake' post, it had become more obvious that the matter was a joke rather than a scam, thus my train of thought was less alert to the continued presense of the link.

You see, there's method in Uncle Dusty's madness after all :wink:
