Alex Salmond hailed the “remarkable similarities” between Scotland and Qatar during a visit to the oil-rich Gulf state.

I dont think so Alex.....Quatar will actually make it to the world cup finals.

Is that take back the rail and utilities under gov control?

If so, you got my vote.

I fully agree, it's disgraceful how it all got sold to the highest bidder by Thatcher, when it comes to essentials it should be run on a cost basis, it's only bad management by I could give a ***k lazy cash cow milkers that made them look like a public liability anyway, and knowing this type of person now I would say they wanted to drive it that way as well, we could do with our own car making firm as well, one that makes affordable cars that are reliable, that or make a bid to buy VX back from GM, and then furnish all 999 vehicles from the VX family and make it attractive to buy a VX car, the company itself is moving in the right direction anyway with stylish cars and 10 yr 100k warranties, I ran them for years, best car imo for overall running costs.

If these cnuts had their way they'd privatise the NHS, the armed forces, and the air you breathe.

We've already seemingly accepted how we got screwed over by the banks, and all they did was give themselves bonuses and put our money at the bottom of their balance sheets.

The poverty gap between rich and poor in 2010 was the widest since the second world war and that was after years of labour administration, its a f*cking disgrace - and those people that were in that government if they had any respect for themselves whatsoever would go to the bottom of their gardens and shoot themselves - because for labour politicians they have sold the people who voted them in down the river.

The prime minister has a personal wealth estimated at £30 million, the chancellor is also a multi-millionaire and heir to an absolute fortune, do we really think these people give a flying f*ck about any of us?

Terrific post Wayne couldn't have summed it up better myself, as you know GO is a personal favorite of mine and a shinning example of how out of touch with reality he is, his only tool is raise tax to clear debt, great if everyone is rich and can shrug the increases, but they aren't so his model results in for example

Pre raise 25% of 100M

After 25% of 5M

Absolute goon and if he didn't buy his way in I cannot think for one second how anyone thought, hey GO knows what he's doing we'll put him in number 11

I only wish someone would send him a copy of a God Sim like Sim City,Anno 1404 etc etc, see how his policy works in pixels before he inflicts it on us, when he came to power Diesel was £4.70, it's now £6.85, can someone show how that is inflation because I can't see no 1% there can you.

btw, I've just accroned him, GO, lets hope his initials come true and someone with a brain replaces him, I won't hold my breath they will be any better.

Track record of Tories

Heath - Common Market, cheers Ted

Thatcher - 13.5% interest rates, mad enough for proper MAD if anyone dared say the wrong thing

Major - Bucks the trend and takes his foot off the home owner on mortgage, not popular with the media and gets destroyed

Cameron - Blair in another coloured tie, done nothing but let GO make things worse

In between we have IDS and Billy Hague

IDS is pathetic as leader then when he ain't leader starts to say logical things like can someone employ the locals please

Hague - High hopes, great man for a reply, didn't do anything wrong while leading the party, now had a brain work as Foreign Minister and makes no sense at all

Not good is it, in the background awaiting their chance Clegg & another too young to be PM Labour man who I think is full of good ideas in his own head that will result in more mess.

Accept it boys. England is a Conservative country.
It dominates the UK to the extent that Scotland, Wales and NI are marginalised.
The only way Liebour could get elected was to ditch socialism and ape the Tories.
Pink Tories or blue, makes no difference. Both screw us over.
No socialists, no nationalisations, only Thatcher's children pursuing Thatcher's capitalist Utopia.

This is not what Scotland wants and it's why more and more of us want out.
