He will be back when we get hold of that Gateshead judgement and he realises he wont be able to rank up at Birmingham Airport any more.

Perhaps he can't get online at the airport.

I'm fully aware that will be the case after the new Cab Act comes out.

But why should the Gateshead judgment have any bearing on the situation at present?

This all sound like a load of bowlox to me!!

If it's not right now, why has it been right since 1988?

What's changed?

has GBC left us for good ?

I have been doing family stuff.

Ailing 92-year-old Mum, dementia, Alzheimer's, brought back to where she was 4-6 years ago with the new wonder drug donepezil [branded as aricept].

Unbelievable transformation and reversal in health.

Family war ensued trying to establish Power of Attorney for her, mainly due to non-compliant sister.

In the end, I waived the white flag and left it to them, but not before arranging the principles of ongoing care for Mum, if needed in the future, with social services fully documenting Mum's wishes and drafting a report.

Shame really to be related by birth to some people, one of whom decided to rubbish, trash and slaughter my wife's wonderful relationship with my Mum. But then Mum re-confirmed that strong relationship bond with my wife in recent days and that's all that matters to me and my wife.

I have done my utmost for Mum, have a clear conscience and will continue to assist her in her life to my best ability, dispite some of my siblings beliefs that they are better family members than others.

Sorry to air my frustrations on TDO, but then you did ask 'Where's Brummie?' and now you have the full chapter and verse.
