Not updated this for a bit.

Some t*** hit it with a van back in January, admitted liability, i went through non fault company, same t*** then denied liability.

To cut a long story short, got it back repaired without prejudice, and they're still arguing about blame, I'm quite happy to go to court. My garage is trying to charge them £17k for the credit hire cab I had for 3 months, yes, £17k!! FFS.

Apart from that, the rear wheel steering was fixed AGAIN, and it's still awaiting its second service as I've just done over 30k miles now.

Keeping it for the 3 years now, then decide whether to buy or go down the new trend in lease hire.

I should add that I had a brand new out of the box TX4 from the garage for a week, after the engine froze on the 09 plate tx4 I had, apparently anti freeze wasn't needed that week it fell to -8 !!

Anyhoo, it was a lovely drive, very smooth, not as jerky as the 09, and quite a pleasure to be driving one in central London again with the turning circle and easy to open doors in traffic!

But, it still has no room up front, and it was brand new, so what it'll be like in 3 years remains to be seen.

You never know, but in three year's time you might be buying a Peugeot E7, which will be available with an automatic gearbox in a few days time on 1st May 2012.

Rumoured to be £31K for the top of the range.

Never say never.

£31k? That's a lot.

Think I'd pay the extra for the Merc, minus the rws if the turning circle went.

Cab Direct is very quiet on challenging the cof? They were quick enough in other areas. :?

Hi Nidge, yes it's the 'tiptronic' style, as in you can use the paddle or leave in full auto.

Well after the latest rear steering repair, I'm glad to say its still working.

How long for is another question, but it's beating the last few attempts by several weeks at the mo.

The E7 got some favourable comments after the two showings and demo's this week in London.

I hear John Mason wants more competition in the vehicles, so do I.

A Merc without the RWS sounds good to me.

An E7 with the anti roll bar system fixed, would suit a lot of airport / yellow badge drivers in the suburbs.

I await the Facenas next move. :-k

Not exactly hard to work out how that can be achieved overnight.

Still trundling along, still sounds good.

Covered just under 38K miles now, so its due its 2 spanner service.

Thats about it really, still havent put the fuse back in the RWS since the last time they fixed it, I'll check it again before its plating in November.
