Par for the course I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't a dozen or more who have donated a quarter of a million in exchange for special access

Good oportunity for the Lib dems though if they were to pull out of the coalition now in protest at the tory sleaze they might retain half of their seats at an election instead of losing all of them !

The case was dropped in Oct 2010....the conservatives were in power and had been in power for 5 months though.
