I was just wondering if any other country in the EU has this crazy PH/HC (and HC out of area) legislation

Ive only ever seen rank cars in Spain (yellow and black in Barcelona)

I often see signs at the side of the road that state taxi zone 1 or taxi zone 2 etc in and around the Torreviejar area of Spain. The taxis are all white. I don't think they have private hire.

I remember the last time I was in mainland Spain the hotel booked vehicles that defo weren't taxis.

Quite what they were, who knows, but the cars and drivers were a lot cleaner that the local taxis, and a fair bit cheaper.

+1

Thats the crux of it isn't it, how cheap can we get it so the elite can feel good about themselves rounding up £1.80 to £2.00 happy in the knowledge they didn't whip the negro this time (thats a figure of speech to highlight how certain ppl see us) funny thing though, Sussex works a very expensive area yet loves the cheap ride when it's on someone else, how modern British of he.
