No hearing TFL will review their fitness to hold a licence.

Yep, they have a right to appeal any TFL decision to revoke a license, at a magistrates court, City of London Mags to be precise.

And for the few who don't know Patrick Raeburn, he's the secretary of the minicab board, (whoever they are?) operates a slav.... Sorry, minicab firm, and hates everything to do with real London Taxi drivers. :D

But pray tell us Patrick . . . why is there a 40% turnover every year in minicab drivers? ( stats from TFL)

Why do the vast majority of licensed taxi drivers do the job until a ripe old age and the only people who generaly leave our trade, is through old age?

Why do you go onto every forum and blog banging on about two taxi drivers out of thousands over a 25 year period, that gone done for rape, when in fact hundreds, if not thousands have been raped in minicabs in half that time?

How much do you cream of your drivers every week?

Nice living?

Oh, and how did you fare with your 3675 unmet FOI requests about the licensed Taxi trade that you were going to appeal to the information commissioner? What answer did you get? :D

Because many are lured by the promises of streets filled with gold, alas the truth is streets full of pi**.

However there are many good London PH operators that do look after their drivers, and have very good retention numbers. And Mr TF told me that. :shock:

You may not hate taxi drivers, but you appear to hate answering questions and giving the full facts, at best you either dont know or are deliberately trying to deceive us? ;
