I personally think that if you give PH access to bus lanes then it will lead to ordinary motorists abusing it I think a WAV bus & cycles only policy is best as there is no confusion then I doubt many motorists can tell the difference between a PH car and an ordinary car

Like last years riots, the copycat actions have started.

A huge convoy claims Derek! That depends on their sat navs I guess, and if the road signs have been translated into 36 different languages . . . Wonder if they'll take direct action and drive in them? Feeling brave? :D

Any bets on how long it'll take for the Bailiffs to come knocking to repossess their tellys?

King Griffin of the Tory party coffers has spoken, now the small time clowns are trying to follow, piggybacking all the way to the fines office.

If you look closely at the Picture of Mr Brocklehurst, you will see he is illegally parked on Zig zags, actually on a pedestrian crossing. I think that says it all.

I think you're right, if the PH boss doesnt know stopping on a zig zag collects a £60 fine and 3 penalty points, there's little chance for the rest of them.

Actually looking at the photo there appears to be some sort of parking bay where the metrocab is so I wonder wether he is also parked "off road" in a bay on his side ?

I wonder how many private hire drivers would turn up for this protest if they thought that officials from HMRC were waiting to check their official status at the Etihad stadium?

And of course all hackneys are lily-white.

Funny how PH has such a voice of equality but never plays by the rules isn't it, how about they stop theiving work that they aren't designated for, if the Hack sat outside their office touting they'd throw a hissy yet feel it's ok to do it by a rank,

I refer you to my answer two posts up.

Your manor might be a mess, well that's partly your fault for standing back and letting it be.

Maybe the answer is to make all those PH taxis and problem solved.

Or enforce the bus lanes with cameras and use the revenue to pay for taxi marshalls.

How would that solve the problem there would still be loads of saloon car taxis using bus lanes hence loads of stupid motorists thinking they can as well
