I think that the fact that Nidge feels the need to make an announcement on here everytime someone leaves his local trade says it all.

I think Nidge should perhaps add a little more than what he has done to warrent a response.

perhaps the ages of the people leaving the trade for example, if they bought their plates or if they were a free issue, if they were on a radio circuit or working the cobbles, if they had a few bad experiences with punters or not.

I wont say anything till then

Well nidge is on record as saying he has to earn 17 grand before he makes a penny for himself. If he makes 300 pounds a week for himself then he's taking 32 grand a year. Work that one out.

I think that must be taken out of context JD.

Although, I read somewhere the average wage in this country is £25K per year.

If someone makes a statement saying they have to earn 17 grand to cover vehicle running costs before they start earning a penny for themselves, is hardly out of context.

Perhaps it was bravado, or meant to impress? in that case it was a deliberate lie. Therefore the point I am making, is that if a person is willing to publish fiction on one matter then he is quite capable of publishing fiction on other matters.

Well one of them is a lie. He said he was only taking £40 a day in one thread so either thats a lie or his 17k statement is a lie. To earn 32k a year he's going to have to earn £638 per week or £91 per day thats working 7 dyas a week 365 days a year. So which lie do you believe? the choice is yours.

He may be better off renting, he would immediately be 8 grand a year better off.

I don't know what the £210 rent reference is to whether it be Radio rent track rent or what. You are on record that you owned your own vehicle and that you get your own work. Your figure of rent equates to 10,920 per annum, Your fuel figure equates to 5,200 per annum thats a total of 16,120 . The fuel consumption at £4 per gallon based on a vehicle with a 35 MPG consuption works out at 875 miles a week. Now If I do 875 miles a week I'm going to gross in the region of 750 to 800 per week or 41 grand a year but your on record as saying you only earn £40 per day. youre digging a bigger hole for yourself sunshine.

If you can do 875 miles a week then there is no reason why anyone else in Mansfield shouldn't do 875 miles a week.

And before anyone chirps in you all know what 875 miles a week will get you so no stupid comments.

I don't think I'll state the figure that Nidge once bragged that he managed to persuade an Inland Revenue tribunal that he earned each week.

That would be far too cruel
