I gave up then, basically they can go anywhere, sieze anything, look at anything and you cant stop them, they are the heavy mob

You can register voluntarily below the mandatory registration (sales) level, you would do this if you had a business mainly dealing with vat regd business customers, you would therefore reclaim vat output (on fuel, services,etc)


Bases with radios out on rent should be registered, they have large numbers of radios/dataheads out on rent (and cars) and may be vat regd (some not) but not many give a reciept for the weekly settle, the individual owners i speak to dont seem to realise thier accounts need paperwork for expenses/costs, they just cough up
