At the moment, anything that goes wrong in blamed on Westminster. In your future, we will have to sort out our own cock-ups.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean regarding Edinburgh, unless it's that tram fiasco?
Personally, I don't believe party politics should come into local government. Fixing roads and emptying bins shouldn't be a political matter.
I don't personally blame Westminster for all our ills, nor do I blame the English. How can you blame them for looking after their own interests first and protecting what they consider to be theirs?
Had the position been reversed, I doubt we would have been any different.
As for sorting out our own cock ups, I have no problem with that.
Mistakes will be made and we will fix them ourselves. It's all part of being independent.
What bothers me are those who think we can't.
I find the bloodnocks of Scotland difficult to understand.
No matter what proof or evidence is presented, he clings to his prejudice and the same old tired rhetoric.
He either believes we are subsidised by the rest of the UK, which makes him what?
A content scrounger?
Or he doesn't believe it, which makes him a bare faced liar.
Perhaps he'll be good enough to tell us which it is.
