It has little to do with the Iranian people. They are brainwashed every bit as much as the fu*kwits in this country.

This is just how the game is played. :-|

I would find somewhere to hide that taxi of yours just to be on the safe side. No one can say how this will all play out, but I get the feeling it's not going to be pretty, and the last place you might want to be, is working the streets. :-|

ffs Skull you may be right but we don't aid the demise by downing tools on the effing possibilities, if i invest in the tools of my trade im aiding the recovery, now if we all took your appoach your right but if we all take my approach everything will carry on as normal, Skull are you having a David icke moment

Reggie, Reggie, all I'm saying is that the system is on the verge of collapse and being aware means taking whatever action necessary, if you find yourself in the [edited by admin] for a year. The streets might become a little dangerous due to people having no money and becoming extremely [edited by admin] - off.

Oh and I don't do David Icke moments, although you've always looked like a Lizard to me.

The US depression was cured by WWII.

WWIII here we come.

And after that the Muslims will rule the world.

I'd say a good amount of the US depression was cured by the policies followed in respect of John Maynard Keynes, I'd also say that if we had a government who were prepared to follow suit - instead of pandering to the free market that got us into this sh*te - we'd be a lot better off now.

The politicians of all ilks follow the market like it is a god. They'd willingly oursource their own mothers if it would make them a few quid.

We are told that private businesses are more efficient than local authority and government institutions - like paying someone minimum wage with no employment rights means greater efficiency?

It'll be interesting to find out who should have been maintaining those water towers in Edinburgh - because it seems they may have killed one and injured many more.

Markets have never been free of government manipulation, and that's the problem. Since the gold standard was done away with, the Federal Reserve has simply printed dollars into existence, based on nothing. In the short term, people have gained a lot of wealth through gambling fake money and turning it into hard assets but the bad debt, with interest, has been building for decades and now the worlds reserve currency is essentially worthless. Think about all these wars we've been fighting, all paid for with fake money.

This is the end of the road for the financial system in its present forum. :-|

I think we're talking at cross purposes, I am suggesting the free market system coupled with greed is to blame for a good deal of the worlds ills.

It will be intersting to find out if those water towers responsible for Legionnaires’ disease were outsourced by the responsible authority for cleaning or even in private hands altogether.

There's nothing like a bit of shock and awe to shake the sheeple out of their coma. :)

It's a wake-up call Gusmac. Aren't you interested in seeing what happens next and what might be born of the chaos?

I know I am.

Is this what you are hoping for Gary?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KISiBHxv40

Because if this should happen (and be aware todays bomb can level many more sq miles than this one did) there is an element of mankind that

1 - Caused it by not listening when told important things like not letting your countries money hemorrhage away to foreign workforces

2 - Had to lend to a 2% of a return risk that simply had no intentions of re-paying

3 - Let personal greed create a goldrush scenario in everyone so that they would have to have every penny

4 - Big companies sucking the revolving money out of circulation and into stagnant accounts

5 - Defending others who you know intend you harm (not the little bloke, the organization at the top)

6 - No coincidence all this arrives as China & Asia booms is it, nobody think for one minute this is an intentional stranglehold on the west

Now I don't care if anyone agrees with what I just wrote, I see and I hear, and what I wrote is what I've seen, ask any immigrant in the pub what he thinks, oh sorry, you won't find one in a pub will you, too busy sending the money back home and not re-circulating it into the economy from which it was mined, (apologies to the small amount who do consider themselves British and do spend locally) you can only pick the flowers for so long before all that is left is weeds.

Doom, you have a very dramatic way of looking at things.

I don't want a doomsday scenario to unfold. I am merely interested in what might be born of the chaos of the situation. Will we learn from our mistakes or not? Is the world going to become a better place to live or is it going to blow up in our face, exiting times ahead, no doubt about it?

Those that fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.
