Bottom line is the islanders wish to remain British, if they said they didn't want to then we would have to leave it alone, the worrying thing is the Arg seem to be buying the local off the islands now, this in future could have serious implication's,

Anyway the way I've always seen it is there is too much distance between the Arg and the islands for the Arg to have any credible claim on them.

Well now, that's about as much proof as you need that Argentina who Slags off Britain for our Colonial ambitions in the Falklands are in actual fact no more than a bunch of half baked ex Spanish colonialists themselves who now have what we want the Falkland Islanders to have...Namely a Right to self determination so that they can maintain links with who ever they so wish, and that it would seem is Britain.
