Remind us all how much a new taxi costs in your area?

Do you still get change from £20K?

Now double that.

So a 5 year old London Cab cost £40,000?

Instead of talking out of his arse why didn't your man say we would look at it if you binned the turning circle?

black smoke out of a diesel is excess fuel or soot, they fall to the ground, unless you give my mondeo a blowjob its unlikely to cause you harm (despite the scaremongering this week)

the unseen emissions from a petrol engine are:-

Carbon Monoxide
(CO) Produced during combustion, this is a poisonous gas that is colourless and odourless

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) Consisting of unburned hydrocarbons and products of combustion reactions, these can further react to form ground level Ozone (O3), a major component of smog.

Nitrogen Oxides (NOX) NO and NO2 contribute to smog and acid rain, and also cause irritation to human mucus membranes.

I think the issue is should a council have powers to reduce emissions in their area and licensed fleet.

I agree, but what confuses me is basically what happens if say the air quality plan of London needs adjusted to make sure all vehicles the authority license need to be of a super dooper new Euro 99 standard.

The mayor would go to the secretary of state, who'd obviously have to agree.

But once he agrees.....everywhere else in the country has to have euro 99 standards?

I think it's 50/50 whether London stays in.

As for emissions it's something that I considered, but I think the LC are happy for it to be changed for taxis by councils, but not PH. Which is a tad silly.

But York is a air quality action zone, and their regulations state the maximum regs for PH are to be the minimum for taxis

Some councils will be fined millions if they don't get their pollution down, and not allowing them to implement rules to get taxi/PH emissions down doesn't make much sense.

which indicates yet more failed research by the LC

Well if you or your family lived in the area being polluted by these police emitting crap heaps would you be happy to live with the consequences ??

of course not you want to see your children family suffer of course not!

GET them off the Road and do it now!

You wont be surprised that many of the Owners Drivers of these police spewing crap heaps do not live in the area they POLLUTE for a living, bloody rabble :D

They come into London spew the police for money and shove off home eff you mate i'm all right!!

As for the video on Addy Lee I bet their delighted that that has emerged again John Griffins son Liam boasting about his fathers attempt to CRIMINALLY ASSAULT a GMB Branch sec will surely enhance his reputation and that of Addy Lee must say the old GMB git was remarkably restrained in his response perhaps he had one eye on the camera!! :D

Allegedly rumour had it the incident was witnessed by the senior officers of the then PCO Ed Thomson Alan Mathews, plus Steve Wright MBE LPHCA Ed Townson Private Hire Board Bill Edwards Chauffeur and Executive association plus others I reckon the GMB now regret they didnt make more of it at the time but just laughed it off ????????????

I gather that's what the residents say who live near the GMB offices.

But I think nature will resolve that one before long.

That's three useless tools you've mentioned there.

Two down, two to go?

Did Griffin actually lamp you?

Damn, things I'd pay money to see! :D
