90% of people who are overwewight say, "I've got thyroid problems". If the doctor thought it was a low thyroid he'd give her some Eltroxin which inreases your thyroid hence taking you back to your normal weight.

She's obviously had all the blood and thyroid tests because the doctor has told her to go on a diet and hasn't given her any Eltroxin.

People nowadays want the easy way out like the gastric band treatment, if they didn't eat rubbish and did some excersise they'd increase their thyroid hence making them lose weight.

I've no time for people like her.

I'm not judgemental, she was obviously a lazy cow. There's no need for people to ignore excersise, walking and running is free.

The problem with overweight people is they expect to see results overnight, I say one thing to them which is, "you didn't get fat overnight so your not going to lose it overnight".

I train a guy who this week will have lost 14½ stone in 16 months, he's totally changed his life around, he's gone from a morbidly obese chap to a toned 6ft athletic built man who for the first time in years has got women chasing after him. All you need is the will to lose weight and get fit.

Bollocks.
You have no idea what physical or mental health problems this woman or anyone else has.
You just assume fat=lazy. That's pretty judgemental in my book.

That is too blanket tbh Nidge, it's like saying all black people are bad, or every dog bites you etc, for those that can shift the weight thats a good thing, not all can though, and as you get older it gets harder to do, personally I think those that are trapped in this are prisoners myself, the gastric band is a good solution to it though, I've seen several super largies shift the weight this way.

NOBODY on this planet can have an excuse for being overweight. Any excess flab is down to overeating.

We all know our recommended daily allowances of calories (on average 2500 for guys, 2000 for girls). These figures are not calculated for a laugh. They represent what our body uses whether we like it or not. This is the minimum our bodies need to maintain a healthy weight and not starve and die. You can sit on your arse all day watching 'How stylish is your home under the hammer presented by Jezza' and not eat/drink a thing and you're gonna be burning calories.

You're burning calories maintaining body temprature, organ function, brain activity, breathing, heartbeat, the lot! Your body needs these numbers to provide basic function before movement/exercise is even considered! If you're a guy, your body's gonna be on a 2500kcal usage (roughly). You put 1500kcals over your throat a day and your body takes the rest from your fat flab reserves. If you're keen, you'll burn 7000kcals of fat in a week. There's about 50,000kcals in a stone.

So there you go. Just under 2 months and you lost a stone sitting on your arse. Now do a bit of exercise to speed up the process!

It really is quite simple. You can't get fat if you only consume what your body requires. Absoluely no sympathy to any fatty crying over their cake that they're gonna die coz they're too fat. Listen, the likes of Doom, is into big women. If your hands fail to meet, somewhere in the middle, she's a goodin. Personally, I don't like too much of a struggle myself, but each to his own. I am sure there are those south of the border, who just can't get enough of big obese women.

We'll see when some cabbing years and maybe a medical condition affects some of you lot, you'll understand why ppl snigger and say oi fat cont to you won't you, life is a game of many halves and the halve you are in now won't always be the same as the next one, easy to look in and judge, wait until it's you life puts on trial,
