Your quote above Capt was quite specific would love to see the evidence re the Union with more PH members sucking upto other Unions, clearly your entitled to your opinions and they are respected by me! but that quote is as i say specific so wheres the evidence you base that opinion on?

Most of the problems that will come out of the Law Commission have stemmed from thick arse Unite members stirring the pot. So why does the GMB even share a room with them?

The RMT is as anti PH a union as one can imagine. So why does the GMB share a room with that lot as well?

I was asked why I didn't attend the meeting the other day, and was glad to inform the questioner that I was about as far away from London as I could possibly be without leaving the country.

However if I had attended I would have doubled the representation from B&H. So for the first time in my life it appears I'm in the majority.

I'm told by someone who attended that there were about 500 drivers from around the country, and the meeting was attended by 30 MPs, some of them even stayed for more than a minute.

Now Unite sponsor over 100 MPs, and the GMB over 80. Nothing wrong with that, those unions can do what they like with their money, and it's all above board.

But my point is why should anyone have attended this when only 1 in 6 of the union's own sponsored MPs could be bothered to turn up to the lobby?

Well I cant talk for any Union but i can see through your smoke screen.

1. Unions have only recently been seriously involved in PH and its apparent that demarcation is a foreign word to many Unions with substantial Hack membership! refusing to meet or co-operate on agreed issues is nothing short of stupid. meetings maybe could lead to agreement on demarcation maybe?

not discussing only ensures the present nonsense prevails :evil ::HARDLY ROCKET SCIENCE :D :D :D

2. As a member of the GMB YOU will of course be paying the political levy and are fully entitled to discuss that at your branch meetings, obviously no-one with any experience in these events would expect all supported MP's to attend, there is always other meetings taking place that some of them will need to attend on TU issues, I would expect MP'S with previous employment in the industry to attend and assume they did.

But of course you do flag up a serious concern of many in the Unions, in that in many members estimation NEW Labour was an abortion and OUR IE Trade Un ionists concerns were ignored and betrayed New Labour, New Labour is DEAD thank friar Tuck. =D> =D>

Money donated to the Party is under serious review BY all Union's the disgusting betrayal of New Labour will not be repeated and those in the movement many of whom prostituted themselves by accepting honours for their betrayal can expect to pay the price for their betrayal in my personal opinion!! LETS HOPE SO =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

You got told that there were 300 more members than I was told.... I was also told that next time they would prefer a room with not so many toilets in it.... as people had to keep standing up to allow them to cross the room

I was told by someone who does at times elaborate, so I bow to your information.

Another source I have read has mentioned that he got a number of applauses following comments he made.

I wonder if he mentioned volunteer drivers, fixed penalties, LO enforcement, changing fares and ranking provisions, family driving vehicles etc etc.

Or was this a meeting discussing plates premiums, plate premiums and plate premiums?

Cos if it wasn't I can guarantee none of those attending would have been there.

Other than maybe TT on a jolly. :D
