the ones on the website never sell,or rather they sell very slowly.
there are so called private deals done, whereas the seller advertises privately, hooks up with a buyer and trots of to peter trainers to finalise the deal.
these ones sell
these ones on the site dont.

i think its peters way of buoying up the trade.
by advertising high and in reality selling low, keeps the numpties happy
there are a lot of delusional people out there
most plates have been selling with a taxi for around£22k>£25k so i guess plate prices are around the £16k to £20k depending on how fast you want to sell

they have thier own stuff reciepts and the like, some dogy photos of cabbies etc

but they have no full up to date survey.although they are tarting their stuff up to make it look like its bona fide or is that fiddle ?

anyone applying now and getting refused would be in and out of court in a flash.

unless they can tender, commission , undertake, review and adopt it as policy in 6 months #-o

something fishy? they cant be making this mistake again,or maybe they just don't give a monkeys.

You said "Anyway its sold", You have no proof the deal even existed   If it sold today/tonight then that tells me its total schectish scaremongering.

maybe you should engage that wee braincell of yours before engaging the pointy finger to the keyboard eh

and i think it was someone trying to stop people applying tbh

as for scaremongering can you explain how it does that
after all the price aint that far off the mark.
and yes people ask for more but its the getting that sets the price not the asking

Your presumed price is off the mark, the package is worth more, 3 positions have just sold, i know the buyers and sellers, the original post looks to me as a cheap tactic to stir debate and/or drive the price down, maybe by someone who is looking to buy in

Its feasible but i may be wrong

Dougie, there's not a bank in the county going to loan money to buy a taxi and plate.

It's a buyer's market, meaning if you have cash on the hip, a redundancy or the like, you flash the cash and see who bites. I think 15K for a plate is a fair price when you consider the market. You couldn't afford to spend much more because you have no idea how bad things will be in a year or eighteen months time. The days of paying off, 40K over four of five years is finished. You would have to be nuts even to contemplate such a deal. :-|
