Skull i agree its what someones willing to pay but, a street car with say a T reg Metro is worth a lot less than say someone with an 08, plate and position with city

08 taxi, trade in price less than 10k, you said 12 k,schect, position, 3 sold for full market value+extra (fact)

The value of the plate is holding with a position in Crt and Cty thats how im so suspicious that the original post is scaremongering

i can back it up dougie
ive just had a look round for prices on 08 tx4s their between £10k and £16k guess which ones will sell first,thereby changing the market.
as for the plate prices i sold three and know how much and how quickly they dropped in price and its a negative market.
plus we have the adverts on gumtree,and i know of a few that have sold plates for £20k

so that just leaves the position over to you
