The council wont license it as a taxi or PH.

Good enough for the Mayor, but not good enough for his electorate.

I have a Renault Megane saloon and 4 Renault Megane estates. The Saloon Runs on LPG and returns the equivelent of 80 MPG on a run. The estates are diesel and return around 60 mpg on a run.

Maybe its not quite so good enough for the Mayor as he thought, I think it was the Free-ness of the deal that appealed to him more than the Green-ness of it, and as we all know you only get what you pay for.

I have just done 614 miles for 50.52 litres = 55.25 per gallon :D
How much would it cost to recharge that car if they had to pay for it to cover that mileage :?:

Other than at his Worshipful Mayors council chambers and Eight other points in his Parish I think he would be struggling to find anywhere to charge the damn thing up over night. And I cant see Health and Safety endorsing the use of an 150m Extension Cable running from his hotel room, down the stairs, across they Hotel foyer, down the Hotel steps and over the Hotel car park to the afore mentioned eco-friendly Renault Fluence ZE..It just endorses the absurdity and practicality of taking a freebie which is about as much use as gifting a packet of 20 Woodbine to a non Smoker.

A lot of cities are like that.........they give them miles of neat little cycle lanes at the kerbside which are empty because Mr Pedals much prefers to weave in and out the traffic to advance his journey time.
