To be full of schect,

Just left the pub and the LL and barmaid just showed me what I'm surrounded by, a 22 year old who knows the Falklands better than me and a LL whose bother died before the invasion started, yeah right, and all because I said that Mrs T shouldn't have sunk the Belgrano,

Lets look at this,

As I remember it we was on the way down south when Mrs Dontfockwithme sunk the ageing cruiser and sent many lives to the bottom, had she not sunk ikt the Arg would've sat wondering what next, instead once aggression had begun their airforce went active, I don't think they would've had she not sunk that boat and we could've got ashore, instead we lost 5 ships and 75% of the others took a hit, I hate these so called clever people, even the USA uses a policy of do not fire until fired upon,

Further info on the front by those that know are RFA ships getting fired upon and hit in the last 3 years, a bullsheet excuse as to why my city has no HMS, even though we are a focking port anyway, and haven't had a ship named since 1650,

I'm sick of this tbh, my city has defended this country every time it's been asked and for some 3 tooth loser to start really gives me the hump tbh, even declared he would break me in half at one time, talk is cheap imo, I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo scared, so many hard ppl around these days, and I though I was the sick bastid.

The pub you frequent must do some very tidy lock-ins judging by the times you start posting on weekdays.

the first bombing raid by V bombers was awesome, the refuelling by refuelled refuellers....the maps (no satnav) on bits of paper, and STILL they got there - and back - after 8000 miles, yes, it didnt destroy much but i bet it [edited by admin] up the invaders...

@ Pops, yeah that an'all

@ Brum, that would be telling, I actually have two, I left choice two late as choice one was going somewhere today and had to up fresh,

Choice two is my local one that I dart for, fella is ok but he's one of these done it knows it and you don't know types, I'm not the only one who notices it tbh, the other two bones of contention were he thinks Hitler was Jewish when he was a Catholic, and he showed me his 1TB memory stick, which despite me trying to tell him there's no such thing and what he really had was 2.5 inch portable pocket HDD, I wasn't allowed to touch it as it has his life on it, so he slams it down on the till side of the bar and obviously knows very little about data storage mediums, as this one is the worst one to entrust your data to,

Anyway, what with the knowledgeable nipper as well telling me Sea King helos could fight fighter jets on equal terms, and what a great person Mrs T was you can see where it all went to eventually, I'd had enough of it an hour before but as I went to leave she re-filled my glass and insisted I stay, so at my weakest moment I was forced to sit back down and consume,

No doubt in their minds they feel or have heard what they believe, all this strike first strike hard mentality, where I'm more of a stealth man myself, why fling stones from a distance when you can creep up and deliver one straight to the face with accuracy,

Vulcan mission was a cracker, especially when you consider the odds and the fact they delivered right in the face, see, stealth, works best every time because it has the element of surprise, and a surprise means no response time to prepare to repel.

Ave a laugh at this one as well, my mate whose about 12 years older than me belly punted me larking about and I ended up on my backside in a chair, legs everywhere, as I do have a good sense of humour and can laugh at myself I was in hysterics, so much so I couldn't get back up unassisted, party games eh :D

Trotskys Twin and Doom...I'm sure if you both combined your revolutionary and Unorthodox styles and turned it further into professional Psychobabble it may just advance the cause for reversing care in the community and also open a new branch of Psychiatry...

Just a thought :-#

I had the pleasure of seeing a Vulcan at an airshow 30 odd years ago, flew down the runway at about 100ft and then went vertical on full throttle (only bomber that can do this I believe) the roar from the engines was unbelievable. Several years later after they changed the rules surrounding airshows I saw another that flew in at low level and then accelerated away in level flight also at full throttle, the acceleration for such a large and old aircraft is quite impressive as is its manoeverablity.

The Scream is called the "Vulcan Howl"....it's truly awesome.

Up til the early eighties there used to be a Dozen a day that passed low over my house, the looked the dogs bollocks, and at other Times it was the Huge B52s that flew over....I kind of miss those days, it was reassuring to see the planes go over on their Missions of deterrent.
