Taxi driver cleared of Milton Keynes woodland rape


A taxi driver has been cleared of the rape of a woman in a wooded area of Buckinghamshire.

Omar Ahmed, 29, was accused of attacking a 32-year-old woman in Linford Woods, Milton Keynes, between 04:00 and 04:15 GMT on 10 March.

Mr Ahmed, of Western Road, Wolverton, denied one count of rape.

He was found not guilty by a jury at Aylesbury Crown Court on 10 August. He appeared on bail during the five-day trial.
