An obvious example is the London Cab Act 1968 where numerous minicab companies were prosecuted in the early 1970's, the 76 act or 1847 act has no such requirement in respect of advertising.......this was backed up in the London PH act.

I'm not sure that I find anything abhorrent about scousers, well apart from when they get into full flow of the conversation and I can't understand them cos they talk to quickly. They're nice friendly folk and this guy obviously has issues of sorts.

I see that Mark Thomas is calling for my badge to be revoked saying that I am not a 'Fit & proper' person to hold a license.

Let's look at some facts here...

I have no criminal record.

I have a full clean driving license which I have held for 27 years, 22 of which I have been a full time driver in London spread over 3 different jobs. This in itself is no mean feat considering we live in an age of Speed Cameras, CCTV etc.

I have been a Licensed London Taxi driver for 13 years and have had not one single complaint against me... Ever!


On the other hand...

Mark Thomas has had his license reviewed on a number of occasions.

The last time I spoke to Mark Thomas he had a fat lip and bruising to his face and he told me he had just been in a fight with another Taxi driver outside the Piccolo Bar in Gresham Street. This driver was the same guy who Mark Thomas has threatened to do unspeakable things to his wife in an ethnic accent over the phone.

Mark Thomas also told me he had recently dragged a passenger from his cab and beat him up on the pavement. The passenger's crime... He was £4 short of the fare.

So you can make your own minds up who is and who is not fit to hold a license.

Well at least you see sense not to challenge my comments about your little forum not being the bastion of fairness and free speech you tried to claim earlier.

I don't know about your spat with Mark Thomas but I do know you seem to fall out quite a bit with previously avid supporters e.g "thomas the taxi" Jim Thomas i hear is the latest.

That clearly says something about your ability or not to get on with people....not a good trait for a supposed trade leader wouldn't you say?

I just thought it was amusing... no hilarious... that he thought you were a Scouser.... There is a lot of people with chips on their shoulders suddenly appearing on here... they seem to be all barking mad.... I am starting to feel at home.... it reminds me of that long holiday I had a few years ago.... but at least now I have a certificate that says I'm sane...

I was a member of the ucg after a brainwashed mate who used the ltdf told me how they were going to save the world. After browsing their forum it quickly became clear to me what their game was and my membership lasted about a week.
They are a nasty bunch of arrogant yobs who will do any thing to take members from the ltda. Unfortunately they have been sussed and their are some interested eyes now looking over them.....bless
