I thought Brummie Cabbie would have started this countdown, as he did with the 200,000 countdown.

But I will jump the gun and start it.

To search anything pre 2012 it can only be done via google site search, as the upgrade last year effected the search function. And TBH the google site search is a zillion times easier to use.

Well I guessed the 6th May 2012 and Mr Gusmac guessed 21st December 2012 as the nearest guess for the date of the 250,000 post on TDO on the above thread.

As of today, I'm 114 days out and Mr Gusmac is 115 days out, not counting the dates we both chose, but counting today in both counts.

It couldn't be closer. I need over 200 posts before midnight to win, otherwise Mr Gusmac wins.

I took the total to 200,000 when that rolled along - anyone taking bets on the date for Third of a Million - will it be 333,333 or 333,334 to count?

It certainly will be close between you and Gusmac - a bang on midnight quarter million would be a fluke and honours even alround - aint gonna happen though!
